Who is behind SoCatering?
SoCatering is the corporate catering arm of Simply Soup, founded in 2012 in Zurich. For over 15 years we’ve been supplying companies and private individuals in the Zurich region with home-cooked, healthy food for corporate events, business lunches, and private celebrations.
Where does SoCatering deliver?
We deliver and cater corporate events in Zurich and the surrounding area. For requests outside this area, please contact us to check availability.
What catering does SoCatering offer?
Our offering includes fingerfood, bagels, salads, bowl buffets, and soups for business lunches, team meetings, corporate events, and special events. All dishes are homemade and freshly prepared, with a focus on healthy, balanced nutrition.
What does catering with SoCatering cost?
It depends. Our fingerfood offering starts at CHF 25 per person, excl. delivery, service, tableware rental, etc. Our soups start at CHF 12 per person. The range is generally between CHF 12 and CHF 50 per person, for food only.
Are there vegetarian, vegan, or allergy-friendly options?
Yes, we adapt our menus to dietary needs, including gluten-free, lactose-free, vegetarian, and vegan options.
What is the minimum order size?
We take requests from 20 people upward. For smaller events with bigger budgets, please contact us directly for a custom quote.
How far in advance do I need to order?
We recommend placing orders at least one week in advance to guarantee availability and freshness. Short-notice requests are also possible by arrangement.
Does SoCatering deliver, or is there pickup?
We offer both delivery directly to your workplace with our electric catering van, as well as pickup. Delivery costs start at CHF 35 within the city of Zurich.
What kind of events is SoCatering suited for?
SoCatering is well suited for business lunches, team meetings, corporate events, and conferences, as well as private celebrations. We’ve catered events for UBS, Nestlé, EF, ETH Zurich, Bucherer, Fairtrade Max Havelaar, Baker McKenzie, LVMH, and the City of Zurich, among others.
How do I order from SoCatering?
Requests can be made via the contact form under “Request Catering” on socatering.ch, by email to order@socatering.ch, or by phone at (+41) 076 361 37 41. We put together a custom quote based on your event, headcount, and preferences.
How fast do I get a reply after I’ve sent off my request?
We always aim to get back to you as soon as possible. Our policy is to reply within the first 48 hours of receiving your request.
